::I'm a big fan of Toyoko Inn. They offer everything you could want. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the location is excellent.

::Everything was great; staff, room, amenities, service, but one issue: The isolation of walls between the rooms is not enough. Because I had a rough night; I woke up due to the unusual loud snoring of a guest from the next room. The loud snoring was constant till almost 9 :00 in the morning; couldn't sleep almost at all. I should give one star only, but because of the service front-manager kindess and a great breakfast staff kind behaviors pushed the rating to four. Left with a bit mixed feelings but thankful.

::A business hotel with no frills, no nonsense, very clean, very friendly staff and very affordable rate, situated very close to Obihiro Station. My last stay was an experience I would never forget, being awoken by big earthquake at the wee hour of 03:00. The building was shaken in such away that our bed "shuddered", electricity went out , emergency alarm went off, and we all ran like hell downstairs. We did not go back to our room until day break, just to find out nothing worked, no water, no shower, no electricity. Amazingly , we noticed some guests, probably, slept right thru, as if nothing had happened. This earthquake coupled with the typhoon Jebi that woke us up the morning before, also at 03::00 hour, elevated our adventure to an experience we shall never forget.
