My parents booked a room here and realized once they entered the room that they had accidentally booked a smoking room. The fact they even have smoking rooms was a surprise to us as it gives the whole hotel a bad odor. But we went down to the front desk to see about changing rooms and told them that the room smells really bad. Sakamoto-san told us that it doesn't stink, it's a smoking room and we can use the spray in the room to mask it. The next thing I know, Sakamoto-san is walking away from us without saying another word. We called later and spoke to his colleague who informed us there were no more rooms available and we can't cancel the reservation without paying the full price. This is understandable as it was our fault for not realizing it was a smoking room, although I do feel they could ask at check-in to verify smoking is ok as this is not a common thing in most hotels. The problem with our experience (other than a room that smelled like an old ashtray) was with the service from Sakamoto-san. We were standing in front of him trying to get some help or answers and he just walks away. His colleague said it was due to the language barrier. But there was no request for us to wait for the English speaking colleague or even any attempt to try to communicate that they were fully booked for the night. He just walked away from us and started doing other things leaving my parents and I standing at the counter. I have been in Japan for almost 10 years and have never experienced service that bad. I also know some Japanese so he could have at least attempted to explain the situation. Although the location is pretty good being so close to Fussa Station, I can't recommend staying here due to the service and the bad smell.

Very affordable, easy check-in & check-out process (except my VISA credit card never worked at the check-in machine), great service from the staff. The location was convenient, and surprisingly we did not hear much noise despite being right next to the train station. Lots of options offered for breakfast. The only inconvenient part was that space is limited in the room, and it was difficult managing 2 large suitcases for my partner and me. Would recommend for light travelers.

Location is great and the staff is exceptional. the beds are awful! Sleeping on the pavement outside is probably more comfortable. it was really tough after traveling for that many hours to get here and have to try to "sleep" on what is essentially a lumpy rock.

Stayed one night and have to say it was pretty damn good. The location is right outside the East Fussa station exit. There are a good number of Izakaya and restaurants in the area and a Family Mart across the street. A quick walk to Yokota AB as well. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and a little bigger than other hotels of the same type I've stayed in Japan. If you get a room facing the west you will have a great view of the mountains and on a clear day see Fuji in the distance. The room was, clean, the bed was firm but comfy for me. They had one pillow but it was just me and likely could request an additional pillow. They serve breakfast in the lobby too which was really good. Lots of fresh onigiri, meats, shumai, curry, rice, miso, juices, salads, and breads. Coffee too and it was included in the price. They also offer complimentary hair.vombs, toothbrush kits and nightgowns in the lobby. Would stay again...heck I'm on base now and would rather be there TBH.

This a good hotel and super convenient with the Fussa train station a minutes walk away. It was very clean and the daily room cleaning was very thorough. The rooms had self controlled A/C which is awesome in the humid Tokyo heat and the room had a little fridge and everything you need for a couple of days on the road. That said, I wouldn't want to stay there too long. Here's why: The bed is SUPER hard and so were the pillows. Great if you like a hard bed and hard pillows, but if you don't you won't be able to sleep ... I promise. It could have just been my room, but the other people who stayed there with me had the same complaint about the lack of a soft bed and pillows. Also, I stayed there four days and two of those days only one of the elevators was working so it took close to 15 minutes to go from the 10th floor to the lobby. Again, it could have just been a coincidence, but half of the days it was this way. Finally, my bed squeaked a lot. I don't know if it was the frame or the mattress, but it could be a bit annoying at times. I was alone, but with two people I think it would be unbearable.
