  For this price you’d expect to get a usable toilet right? Wrong. While old overall, the rest of the experience is quite pleasant, but how can a hotel seriously install this kind of toilet and how can Japanese people accept this as ‘normal’? It’s a mystery to me.

  What a great hotel. A surprise from the moment we pulled into the parking area, then in to the front entry, then to reception. I had no idea what I was booking apart from a twin room for 3 nights with meals. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was a standard twin room. Nothing fancy, but clean and practical. No complaints there. The lobby and common lounge area was huge with and awesome view across the immaculate lawns and the lake.
The onsen was really good. Big changing and washing areas, then the big outdoor tub with views was excellent. Very relaxing.
The biggest surprise was the French dinner ! Wow. Multi course meals were delivered by attentive wait staff. The meals looked and tasted great. The view from the dining room was across lawns and lake.
 Breakfasts were Japanese based with the usual Western influences or options. Overall this hotel was excellent. Highly recommended. The whole Lake Towada / Towadako area is so nice. Lots to see and do. A rebound in tourism to the area is well deserved and required. 
Go visit this beautiful area. Fall would be especially pretty, but anytime is good.

  Jam LEXUSMAN for Toyota President Trip 2023 .. we came to Aomori and have special lunch here . Actually, the hotel is very beautiful. I would like to stay here, but it cannot fit 400 peoples . However, lunch is very good. In western style and very delicious. We have a very beautiful view. if you gonna come to Aomori most recommended

  Beautiful place by the lake and food was very good. It’s less touristy than Lake Chunzenji and more should be done for Lake Towada so that more crowds can revive the restaurants too. Sunrise over here is fantastic if you can can wake up early.

  Beautiful hotel on Lake Towada! We had the set course for dinner and breakfast. They were very accommodating of food allergies and offering a vegetarian option. The sunrise is gorgeous - definitely worth the early wake up! The staff were kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!
