  NOTE: this resort does not have private beach. If you look for a beach vacation, re-considering it. Then 5 stars? Overall, i think the hotel has gotten much better in hospitality, cleanliness, communication, and transportation (shuttle services). And everything they provided met our expectations (we are golfers, not divers 😅). 1. The hotel seems being renovated recently so the room is very clean and nice. They also do room refresh 2x day. We booked 2 beds by accident, and they combined the two beds into one king bed, surprisingly it is not bad at all! The spa and gym are a bit far and also required a shuttle to get there. The gym is quite small. However, they have indoor and outdoor pool both are decent. I enjoy the late night outdoor pool and live music there, it was a blast and helped me sleep better. 2. Food at the hotel overall very good. Breakfast buffet is actually what I am looking forward to every morning. They have variety of options, especially for kids. The teppanyaki is a must try, reservation is highly recommended. We did not try the Italian one so no comment. 3. Golf: Hotel is near the golf course, despite we could not play there due to the Sony JLPGA Tournament, we had a chance to watch and walk with the pros all 18. This is one of the most beautiful and challenge golf courses I’ve seen. 4. Services & Hospitality: one of my favorite Ritz here. Every staff is friendly, most of them can communicate english effectively. They helped to manage and arrange all the bookings and diner reservations for us. On top of that, when i got food poisoning upon arrival (from tokyo), they provided a good care and OTC medicine to me. When they know we could not play golf at Kise, they arrange to get us the Tournament ticket for free at cost. After staying there for 6 days, i feel like i know everyone there. 5. Transportation: They no longer have shuttle, instead, they have private car and they drive you everywhere within 5 mins. It takes appx 3-5 mins to wait for the car at the lobby. They will give a cell phone to call them when to pick you up. It is super convenient and helpful. Recommend to book the hotel car service for airport pickup/drop off, it’s $18,000 yen at the time we used the service, it is cheaper and more convenient than uber. All in all, we had a really good time here.

  Stayed here for 5 nights over Xmas and absolutely loved it. Property sits adjacent to a golf course with mountains in the background. Interior is simple, tranquil and classic, very zen and classy. It is a little old but well maintained. Loved the rooms - they are very comfortable. The service is impeccable - Ashok, one of the English speaking staff, was super helpful. Got to mention the afternoon tea which is highly memorable, and the spa is very nice. Loved the boardwalk leading to spa looking for tiger newts. Would have been a 5-star for me save for couple of issues. 1. Indoor pool (which is open till 9 pm) is closed to anyone under 16 after 5 pm even with adult supervision?! And this is not stated anywhere we can find. This means anyone with kids who enjoy the pool will have to spend part of a daytime in the hotel rather than out enjoying Okinawa 2. Hotel is not near to any outside shops/restaurants or the beach - will need a rental car. Other than that it was a great stay.

  As to be expected with a Ritz property everything was top notch. Everywhere you go there's an excellent view. I started on the upper floors and the view was awesome. The staff really helps with any needs you have during your stay. I was a little disappointed as a platinum member some benefits weren't offered since this is considered a "resort" location. They offered free champagne at check in.

  We really enjoyed our stay in Ritz Carlton Okinawa even though the check in time was taking for quite long but we were ok with it due to service was really good and warm welcoming from them. We had a great stay for 2 nights at here by enjoying the facilities and food that they served. We highly recommended people to stay here but the only con was too packed of people and we met one of the arrogant ladies then asked us to got off from the jacuzzi which was not fair enough for us to enjoy 😃 I hope this customer won’t cause any terrible scenes to the others since we already let her to have it 😐

  Fantastic place. Very discrete luxury. Kind and very professional staff. Rooms are beautiful with balcony and great bathroom. Beds are super comfy and big. The pool is huge and beautiful. You can swim till 9pm, in the evening with traditional live music by an Okinawa musician. Good breakfast. The only thing missing is a beach with sun chairs. We would definitely come back!!!
