::Although perhaps a hotel that is past its most glorious time, it remains a comfortable place to stay and is conveniently located next to a train station.

::It’s a solid 4 star hotel. Yes, it is old but renovated and well kept. Yes, it is located in the middle of where, but the station isn’t far away and better yet if you have a car. You will not find a Marriott hotel with a club lounge and full service for this price honestly. Their evening cocktail small bites were all tasty! I had almost every single item and was wowed by it. Could definitely fill me up even. Afternoon tea was weak so you can skip it. I didn’t try breakfast but they have a buffet menu or set menu. The American set menu breakfast ends quite late even, at 11am. Oh and they gave me a free upgrade to the 3rd best room for my birthday upon request! The room itself was spacious and unique but the flooring was weird as if they didn’t bother putting on any flooring due to budget. There was a part of the room where there was a section that was extremely low and my partner even hit his head while getting out of bed. The Nishin suite felt a bit dark though but if you’re coming as a family, it’s perfectly suitable.

::The hotel is easy to get to from the airport- just a limousine bus and subway. Before the stay, the concierge Svetlana was extremely helpful with her advice and generous with her time. I was grateful to the kind staff and the club lounge staff who were friendly and let you stay for more than an hour if there is less crowd. The Japanese breakfast was very nice with beautiful view. Although the hotel is not new, the facilities are well maintained such as the gym. I just wish they had an onsen and it would be perfect. The club lounge is worth to visit and they are generous with the food and drinks until 9pm.

::Buffet breakfast was very good. Japanese and continental styles as would expect. Worth a short cycle up there from the city for a great start to the day. Staff were great. Walk around the parks nearby afterwards. Impressive.

::Pros - The room was clean and spacious. Had all the amenities I need. - Breakfast was pretty good. Cons - There was some weird pounding noise at night at regular intervals but it didn't bother me. - The hotel is quite big so it took a while to walk to my room.
