::Very nice place to stay. The water is 100% natural hot spring without circulation. The water is slightly cloudy with white floating sediments. The water smells sulfur and wax. There are both indoor and outdoor baths. The food is good. The facilities are old but tolerable. The lines are clean.

::Very beautiful place, warm, quiet and relaxing. There’s no convenience store around, just prepare if need. Breakfast is fantastic and delicious. Hot springs was the best. In winter season, there might snow, please enjoy this wonderful place.

::old but decent room, high-quality sulfur hot spring, cozy and peaceful rotenburo-very silent at night, owner 'Hoyuji-san' and his wife are so kind and warm. also the manager of this hotel has good manner, very helpful, always smile and considerate. they gave a ride from the JR station and carried our luggages to 3th floor (no elevators in this hotel, but its stairs are covered with carpet, it helps when walking up and down.) our room was on 3th floor with Tazawa lake view. had a gorgeous sunset on clear day. and most of all, dinner and breakfast were so authentic and delicious. compare with the other hotels near by, it was like home-made and more healthy. if you're lucky, you can see the manager's snow-cleaning on the roof-top! (added a photo) Hope visit again when I come back to Akita.

::The owner was very friendly. The hotel is quite old but in the room is quite new and clean. My room was on the 3th floor with big window I could see mountain view of ski area. The food also delicious for dinner & breakfast.

::Dinner was delicious. Hot spring is very natural. Inside the hotel was quite old but in the room was OK. The price is much cheaper than other hotels around.
