::Location great, right next to the station. Onsen is fantastic and the fact that they're mostly on a rolling schedule is amazing for trying them all out. Service is out of this world good, we got these gigantic multi-course meals as part of our stay that we had no idea we had even been provided with. I just feel bad we didn't have enough time there to enjoy everything. The fireflies we came for were fantastic, too.

::What I disliked - Lack of decoration in the room. - TOO expensive There is nothing nearby by. Near conbini is like 20m+ walking. What I liked -Room was big. Staff was friendly. Meals were amazing. Outdoor onsen was great!

::Dinner is very good and delicate. Breakfast is traditional Japanese style. Room is warm with heater and cosy. Just nice for 2 large luggages and 2 adults, very spacious. Onsen is amazing, temperature just right and good. They will swap the public bath at 0800 to 0830hr and 2000 to 2030hr, must experience after they do the swap. Gift shop, is average. Should have more made in Japan items but not so costly.

::We drove to this ryokan so I can't speak for how accessible it is by trains, but the place was very nice! One side of the baths only has an indoor onsen and a steam sauna but the other side is really nice with an outdoor onsen. They have private baths too that looked really nice, but we didn't rent that out. They swap onsens between 8 to 830 so you can experience both in one day. The river/suwokyo is super close and is beautiful to take a walk around.
