::We stayed for one night, the was beautiful place to relax with your couple. It’s not a modern new hotel, it very old but that’s what we liked about the place. Japan has many private hotels/ryokans that are famous for their age. The rooms very simple in Japanese style. They had four private onsen with additional payment. We stayed in Sakura Garden onsen, with open widows. The food was one of the best Tofu based dinner. They have serve everything related to Tofu with that concept. As for the breakfast it was buffet type with a beautiful view towards the lake.

::The hotel is dated and maintenance is needed. The lobby is old and smells old. Room is average and onsen is average. Rocks in the onsen can be slippery and maintenance is needed. The only bright point is their dinner. If you are a tofu lover, their tofu is wonderful. The staffs are also friendly and helpful with good service. Not a repeat for me. They definitely need some cleaning and maintenance.

::Insensitive is nice and large though we need to walk a long way to go. The facility is old and the room is not bright.

::What a beautiful place!!! Room is nice and spacious, we got the view of the mountains (instead of Lake Ayala) but it's still gorgeous nevertheless. The onsen is nice, but didn't quite enjoy it, personally I've been to smaller onsen that are better. We had full Japanese course dinner which was a wonderful experience. And breakfast buffet was AMAZING!!! The tofu, rice and black sesame & honey spread was the absolute highlight!! Will definitely return when we're back in Japan.

::Great views of Lake Akaya and a fantastic hot spring with hug outdoor bath. The food is also great with traditional Japanese dining and a buffet breakfast.
