  My room is 201on the night of 27 march 2023 in Marroad hotel Karuizawa. I request to refund my money back（9900Yen - 3300Yen=6600Yen) I booked a 2 singlebeds with breakfast for 1person, but 2 person on that night. The staff asked for extra charge JPY 9900. It's overcharging me. I explained to the staff but they disregarded my concern. Here is my grounds, One 2 beds room, 1 person with breakfast. The standard rate in your website is 18700 yen. (PAID IN BOOKING. COM) One 2 beds room, 2 persons with breakfast. The standard rate in your website is 22,000yen. The difference for extra one person is 3300 yen. Your staff is inexperienced and refuse to listen to guests. Staff can't understand English. I requested to have my money back（9900Yen - 3300Yen=6600Yen) to my credit card. However, the hotel ignored my request.

  Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in early March 2021. Staff service also very hospitable, they will guide you personally to your room too. Perhaps due to Covid, they serve either American or Japanese breakfast, which you will be asked upon check in. Service quality during breakfast was great, a well balanced meal with free flow coffee/tea. The room was spacious and well equipped, a good walk from the Karuizawa Ginza street where you’ll find small shops, Sawamura bakery and meal spots too. Highly recommend the area as you can walk and explore vacation homes nearby too.

  Nice classic (Japanese) French style restaurant. Full course fine French dinner, reasonable quality per price. Tatami / bed mixed room is availble, good for family with enfant.

  A grand hotel before. Now quiet, rooms are spacious. Breakfast, amenities are good.

  Just about get 4*. Excellent location, great service (at breakfast) selection of food was ok. Massive, clean rooms. Very nice overall ambiance... Room service menu is terrible though.
