::Excellent place for homemade pasta and pizza made with Italian flour. Great veg salad too. They are also a charcuterie on the ground floor. Restaurant is upstairs. My only tip is to use Google translate for the ‘specials’ menu, which is a separate yellow laminated one in Japanese and had additional yummy options on it.

::Table Nana is a hidden gem near Kanazawa Station - great food, fun environment. There is restaurant upstairs and a cozy bistro / bar downstairs. Chef Hori-san and his team can speak pretty good English and there is an English menu available, making it easy for foreigners to order. They have a selection of tasty Mediterranean dishes, draft beer and good wine options. This is one of my favorite places in Kanazawa.

::The food was delicious. I’m my opinion it is better than the 4.0 rating it has received, though this is the only time I have eaten there. The staff is friendly. I don’t speak Japanese but they made an effort to communicate with me. The main cook speaks some English and tried very hard. It was an enjoyable experience. I will come back next time I am in Kanazawa.

::Good food. Good atmosphere. Downside: Uncomfortable seats.
