::I stayed in Niigata unexpectedly on 1/1/2024, when Ishikawa earthquake happened. I couldn't go back to Echigo Yuzawa cause Shinkansen stopped working. I had no idea where I can go, where I can stay until I found Single Inn. The price of the room is very cheap. The room is simple but comfortable. The location is very good, which is close to Niigata station and Lawson convenient store. The Shinkansen still nonworking on 1/2/2024, but I have to go. Takano sen, the counter, if my memory is right, gave me a big help. Cause I can't speak Japanese, he helped me book a taxi, the driver accepted credit card for payment and he can speak a little English and willing to take me to Echigo Yuzawa, the distance is about 143km and cost 2hrs. The driver, Uota sen, is so kind and friendly. Many Thanks for everything I had been through and everyone I met that day.
