::Basically the food is good here, but waiting time is too long. It took us 2 hours to finish the dinner here from 17:30 to 19:30. I would suggest to start expediting once you have been waiting for next dish for more than 5 minutes.

::Randomly stumbled here. What a gem, fantastic service, straightforward ordering through a tablet with many languages to choose from. We ate sashimi, followed by beef and finished by salmon rice with roe Kyoto pickled veggies. Everything was fantastically fresh and tasty and the beer and top shelf sake made it a feast. Best meal so far on day 7 of our trip to Tokyo and Kyoto.

::Regarding the price for those dishes, it is definitely a 5star for me. It is not completely traditional Kyoto cuisine, but all used Kyoto-produced ingredients. We a party of two ordered more than enough food, ended up 6500 yen. We ordered 6-kind sashimi, scallop stewed with cheese, steamed vegetables and Japanese gluten, pan-seared shrimp and mushrooms, and finally rice stewed with seafood. There is a 400yen table fee for each person. All dishes looked great! I loved the pan-seared shrimp and mushrooms so much. They paired it with bread. Sashimi were all fresh!

::Definitely not vegetarian; nearly all dishes we ordered came with meat inside. Very mediocre food and quite expensive. Served a weird mix of foods; none tasty, and not as described (e.g. yam gratin was cheese coated mushrooms). Rest of food was weird...
