::The center of Hakodate is a 20-minute walk one way, and there are no shops around, but a 7-Eleven is nearby. Omori Beach is right in front of you, so it might be good for couples! For a moment I thought it was a love hotel. If you turn on the hot water from the tap, the hot water bomb may cause burns.

::It's too old everything including staff's mind except beach scene.

::Budget (business) hotel next to the beach. I'm not sure how convenient this place would be without car, but if you drive this is not too far from most key locations in Hakodate and the parking lot is free. The rooms are somewhat dated, but clean and reasonably well kept. Free internet is available by ethernet and also through WiFi. Our booking included breakfast. Expect a standard japanese style breakfast (Natto, Tofu, Miso soup, etc.). As far as I know, there are no alternatives offered. Next to the hotel is a series of restaurants, ideal for a quick dinner. We enjoyed the pizza next door, but that's a different review. If you have a choice of rooms, definitely pick the ocean side for the view and less street noise. The windows are reasonably well insulated, so that the street noise is not too bad, though.
