Wish I had stayed longer in Nagoya just to eat that breakfast more than once. The room was nice, the futon comfy, the hot bath very relaxing. The vending machine has melon cream soda for 100 yen (!) And the washing machine and dryer are also ridiculously cheap. Everything is available 24 hours. It's close to some things but far from others, but Nagoya is hard to explore on foot anyways. Still, I walked everywhere but the Port and really enjoyed the nearby high streets. 9/10, will come again!

Very good personal who are very welcoming ! traditional room with kimono. The bathroom are clean nothing to say about that. Place benefit from a reachable location near from the train station and the downtown of nagoya ! excellent experience

Good for the price. It is close to a station so easy to get to, and everything was clean. The hot bath was nice and well kept, but there was a weird smell in my room.

Room is cleaned daily and staff is very accommodating. -1 stars for the paper-thin doors & walls, as well as the optional breakfast being somewhat subpar given the price (especially since there’s a Matsuya and other breakfast places nearby...). Otherwise, very good experience!

A great ryokan with great rooms at a good price in a very good location. The owner speaks very good English and room service is great and kind. The room was larger than I expected and very clean. The bathing area was clean and well maintained. Kamimaezu Station is nearby which is great for transit. Osu shopping district is just a short walk away for a variety of stores and restaurants and definitely worth a visit. I would definitely book with this ryokan again on another trip to Nagoya.
