::The room is a bit dated. The service is outstanding. 1.7km or more from the main key landmarks and some offices is somewhat a hassle.

::I recently stayed at the Rose Hotel Yokohama, formerly the Holiday Inn Yokohama, and was impressed by its blend of heritage charm and well-maintained rooms. The front desk staff is a huge plus, as they can communicate in English, Chinese, and Japanese 🇯🇵 especially helpful in Chinatown. It's also convenient, taking just 40 minutes to reach Shibuya Station. The hotel’s hospitality feels genuine, inspired by the rich culture of Yokohama Chinatown and the legacy of Chungking Restaurant. Their service is clearly driven by care, not just manuals. Highly recommend!

::Attention Foreigners Honest Review *** Pros: -Close to Subway Station -Bus shuttle in front of hotel to Hanenda -¥800 per person , make reservations online -In middle of Chinatown -Lobby is beautiful -Staff is polite -TV has YouTube and Netflix -Toiletries provided Cons: -Rooms are older -Hard bed -Breakfast states half western , there is no western food only Japanese and Chinese -Pool is not included in hotel cost ¥2200 per person regardless if you use the pool or not(Grandma just wanted to watch her grandchild) and they said she still has to pay. I was told towels were included until I got to pool and then they said I have to pay for towels . The only thing special about pool is it’s on roof) Toddler pool is just a blow up pool. FYI early check based on Availability each hour is ¥3000. There other many other hotels in Tokyo that offer ¥300-1200 per hour for early check in..

::It is an old but clean hotel. People there are very polite and helpful. They accommodate large groups of students for their school trips so, breakfast buffet can get pretty crowded. They do not have kids nightgown like other Japanese hotels.

::Truly an excellent place to stay. The staff - particularly Junko Ishibashi - were amazing professionals, accommodating and welcomed us with no advanced reservations. We originally had arrangements booked through a travel service at a different hotel - an unfortunate mistake - which didn’t work as anticipated. Rose Hotel Yokohama is truly a gem and I would recommend to anyone seeking a comfortable place to stay, great service and wonderful staff. Thank you for helping us during our stay in Japan.
