::The most hospitable and most welcoming stay I’ve ever had in Japan. We were hosted by a lovely couple who gave us a warm stay in Nikko! During our short two days of stay, Shizuo and Keiko-san ensured that we stayed well and ate well - Shizuo gave us a free ride from the JR station to and fro, and the amenities were sufficient and comfortable. We could also make green tea ourselves in the room and it was perfect for the rainy season. We had breakfast prepared by Keiko-san, and it was so sumptuous! Definitely stay here when you visit Nikko, highly highly recommended!

::Very friendly hosts, who were more than happy to pick up our luggage from Tobu-Nikko Station prior to check-in, leaving us luggage-free and ready to explore - super helpful! It was our first time staying in a ryokan and it was a memorable experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were provided with everything we could have possibly needed, including a heat pump, matcha and yukata. Location is just a 12-15 minute walk from Tobu-Nikko Station. Highly recommend also opting in for breakfast - wide variety of dishes and it was all delicious!

::The couple who owns the guest house are super sweet and helpful with everything. We had a nice talk with the host in the morning and shared some stories. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and there is a hot bath in the bathroom to relax. The rooms are japanese style with tatami mats and futons and I found them comfy even if I wasn't sure before. We got an awesome huge traditional breakfast in the cosy living room. The guest house is about 20min to walk from the station but we got picked up from the station. On the last day we went to town to visit the temples and we left the bags at the guest house. They were brought down for us with the car to the train station.

::Highly highly highly recommended!!!!Amazingly nice hosts! Very helpful when we had troubles! It is like coming to the Japanese home I've never had! The best place we stayed in all of our trips to Japan! The place looks great and very clean. The bath is huge, clean and had everything. There is a coin laundry if you need it. The room was very spacious and had table, tea, yukatas and toothbrushes. If you come to Nikko, be sure to stay in Rindou's home!!

::This is the most wonderful guesthouse situated in the beautiful and well forested town of nikko. The hosts are lovely, helpful and friendly, and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely styled with a pot of tea waiting on your arrival. The bathing facilities are really nice and while it's a shared bathroom, you can easily have it to yourself for a private onsen like experience. It's also very reasonably priced with internet and air-conditioning in every room. A final point is the hosts make it very easy to get you around. They collected our bags earlier in the day then picked us up later. They even drove us to the supermarket because it was raining. We only wish we'd booked food because we hear Keiko-san (host) is a fantastic cook. Can't recommend enough, especially if you're after the home-stay type experience.
