  Absolutely well made tongue dishes. The set menus come with rice, beef soup, and seasonal Japanese dessert. The tongue was utterly out of this world. I’ve never had tongue this thick & tender. It is chewy, but once bitten all the way through, it breaks off right away. I could appreciate the charcoal that was used to grill the tongues. Even though they’re not overly charred, you could still taste & smell the fragrance & the smokiness coming out of them. Amazing. All the side dishes were proper & delicious. The mochi (seasonal Japanese sweet) that we got with the set meal was also very nice. Must go in Sendai! English menu available!

  Although this wasn’t my first choice that day (the first choice was closed for lunch when I got there…..) Rikyu was not bad at all! I ordered the deluxe thick cut set. It was grilled to perfection, so juicy and tender.

  A delicious place for gyu tan, I highly recommend their most premium beef tongue. I ordered some servings of beef tongue without a set and in my opinion, this was a great value way to try some premium meat. The beef tongue was grilled perfectly and very tender, and not hard to chew at all, which is the case for a lot of lesser quality dishes. Overall the price is not too bad for the quality of meat you get, but it's also not cheap. I went on a Saturday night, and there wasn't much of a line, which was great. English menu is available.

  We visited the restaurant at past 1pm on a weekday. There were a few people waiting outside but we were seated within 10 mins. Had the set with medium cut beef tongue, mini curry and ox tail soup. The food is delicious and special. Service is friendly and efficient. My partner helped me ask my beef tongue to be cooked a bit longer which they kindly accommodated. English menu is available, a plus for foreign visitors like me.

  Amazing beef tongue, at first it might be a little bit salty and when you chew it the flavor become stronger and better through time. Really good experience. Also staff are good(not speaking English but sill). Good environment, good foods, and the desert as well was surprisingly amazing.
