::A very nice place to stay in I can't say much on the service, as I did not need any serving. It was easy communicating with the staff. The meals were very good - tasty, nutritious, filling, many choices. The onsen is nice, it might even be better now after the renovation. The toilets are clean, you would not feel that it was a shared toilet.

::Approx 1km walking distance away from Murodo but really need to have proper walking boots and attire during the winter/snow period to get there. There isnt a proper walking path during snow cover period and the walk is up/down the mountain. Can be quite slippery and difficult if one dont have proper shoes. Took a while to hike there. It is an experience staying in these type of accommodation so I dont rate them like any hotel. Got a shared private room with friends. Decent sized room with tatami style floor, futon for sleeping. Comfortable? Not for me. Warming floor but unfortunately the area I sleep on is too warm causing me sweating like crazy. The price is really good as this is more like an hostel with shared bath/toilet instead on insuite type. Breakfast and dinner provided and I must stay the food is really good which is one of the two most positive thing for me during the one night stay. The other is the decent size onsen. For budget traveller with proper attire during snow covered season, this place is good. Especially for skiers. Not really for non-skier. There is really not much to do other than ski

::I reserved a bed in a shared room, which was a little difficult with no English support on the website. Having said that, every other thing was positive - the staff were friendly and helpful, facilities clean and plentiful, food delicious

::Excellent location with fabulous views. Being away away from the roads and other buildings you get excellent view of the night sky and if you are blessed by good weather the sunrise is stunning. Booked with breakfast and dinner - both delicious and healthy. Onsen slightly small but nicely designed. If you stay the night large towels are not provided but small towels and a yukata are. The rooms are simple, but again meet all your needs - with a good quality futon in a simple tatami room with no frills. This is not a high ranking hotel but I am giving this 5 stars because it really meets all your needs without any extra frills and the location is superb. The staff are friendly and helpful and all facilties clean and well arranged.

::This is an amazing hotel, and a unique experience! The dinner is amazing, the onsen is quite big and comfortable. There's a chimney where you can sit and relax. There are some considerations (not a detriment): - It took me around 1 hour to get from Murodo station to the hotel because of the snow. - There's a moderate sulfur smell - There are no private toilets nor bathrooms I am quite impressed with the exper and will try to come back for sure! 6/5 100% recommended
