::Great location. Close to Bay Area or Hakodate station area. Great access to Mt Hakodate as well. If you do not have car and want to spend some time around Bay Area, I’d say this one is the best option. This hotel is known for its breakfast buffet. Seafood bowl was amazing, seafood was fresh, much better than the one I had at morning market. I get that their main thing is the seafood bowl, but there is not much h more to it. Very simple bread and omelet, not many desserts either. Drink selection was also limited. We went there around 6:45 and we got in just past 7am. Inside was pretty chaotic, I wanted to eat more but I gave up due to how many people were in there. Room is ok, it is getting quite old and smelt like moss ball. The double room we stayed had queen size bed, bed was comfortable but there is no space for suitcase. Hot springs on the top floor is very nice, the best thing is that they do not close bath at night so you can take bath literally anytime you want. When I went to the outside bath around 2am, there was no one around and it was really amazing experience. There are many more hotels in Hakodate do similar or maybe better breakfast, this hotel has the best location advantage.

::I had an unforgettable stay at La Vista hotel with breathtaking views of the Hakodate Ropeway and the sea. The onsen on the top floor was a serene experience with its panoramic vistas. I stayed in a spacious tatami room that was both comfortable and charming, adding a unique touch to the experience. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a variety of delicious options. Overall, the stunning views, relaxing onsen, delightful breakfast, and charming tatami room made for an exceptional stay. Highly recommended!

::The rooms are aging, the Onsen is nice and in the roof with good views. Long waits for the lift because the hotel is so full. My room was hot even though I put the AC on at full blast. At the front they told me they have an issue with the AC and it’s better to open the windows…it’s a 13 floor hotel and they said the AC isn’t working well in any of the rooms. It’s a bit unacceptable I found…. Breakfast is good but not incredible. There are so many people it’s a bit of a mad house and chaotic early. In comparison: LA VISTA BAY ANNEX I stayed here last year and the price is double. But I would say perhaps the experience is twice as good. Less people, better fruits and special drinks at the buffet and the system is much better. Rooms are more spacious and super new and nice. I was expecting the same at the regular La Vista Bay but I guess there was a reason for the price difference. I definitely recommend the Annex instead of this hotel if you can afford the price difference. The service is also much better there, I had a bit of a rude girl with attitude the first day here too but the other people were all nice. But the Annex they were very way more welcoming and kind.

::Nice hotel! I like the bed setup. The coffee grinder and cups are very nice! The onsen was nice and hot and the view was beautiful ❤️ the breakfast buffet was also very good - kaisendon! Also some variety over the 2 days I was there.

::The view of the hotel is incredible! Definitely choose the package include breakfast, which is amazing! A lot of sashimi or grilled seafood selection. More than that, a lot of different genres of foods as well. The only sad thing was we didn’t have a chance to experience onsen due to our tattoos. But, we enjoy the whole living experience a lot! Thank you!
