::Big rooms compared to other Japanese hotels. Very friendly staff. Just a 5 minute walk from the Mito station.

::🛏️ great hotel a little south of Mito Station. staff members are all professional, nice, and friendly. rooms are quite large for this price range in Japan. though the views aren't amazing, it's good value overall, with nothing much to complain about. 🧹 check-in from 14:00, check-out until 11:00. room cleaning service can be expected and uses a standard system, following magnetic strips that you paste to the front of your door: either "do not disturb", or "make up room", which you can expect to be done during the cleaning hours between ~11:00 and ~14:00, though it may begin a little earlier. 🛋️ simple and tasteful room design and furnishing. not one—but two!—desks with corresponding chairs in my room, which are comfortable and suitable for working. air-conditioning works well, with responsive temperature control. an air purifier is also provided. window can be opened for fresh air. yellow lights in the room make for good ambience. bedside lamp brightness is adjustable with a knob, making for good mood lighting. bathroom has a good and decently-sized layout. water heating works well and is responsive, and the temperature control in the tub uses a very convenient, one-knob design. three clothes hangers are provided, in a little nook of the room that has a railing to hang them from. though towels and pyjamas are provided in the room, you'll have to pick up most smaller bathroom amenities in the lobby, near the front counter. 🥞 breakfast buffet is pretty good, with a concise yet sufficient spread, held at the 12th floor. if you've paid for breakfast at check-in, you'll immediately receive breakfast tickets for each morning of your stay's duration, each of which you'll hand over at the breakfast venue each morning. 📍 Mito Station is only about a 5-minute walk away, making it pretty convenient located. a 7-11 convenience store is right across the street from the entrance, so it's really easy to grab miscellaneous items. the Kairakuen park is easy to get to in a straight shot, albeit a little ways away, about 20-30 minutes by foot. that's made up by the fact that the route to get there runs along the scenic Senba Lake, so it's a nice walk.

::They were out of non-Smoking rooms. Our room smells like an ash tray. Horrible smell that will not go away. The hallways are filled with smoke. I do not have words of how to describe how bad it is for non smokers. Also wall paper pealing in our room. Good news. 2nd night they were able to move us into a non smoking room. 1000% better. Room looks better. I think the smoke just ruins the wall paper maybe???

::We have stayed here several times. The rooms are nice, bathrooms very clean and larger than other hotels, and it is a short walk from the station. The breakfast in the mornings is very nice!

::Great hotel, really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. I had a single room, but it was reasonably large with a sitting area and lots of luggage space. Would stay again.
