::My friend and I were biking by after dinner nearby and the beautiful design of the shop and the smell of fresh waffles called us in. We entered for an after-dinner dessert and felt the warmth of the place and the owner immediately! It’s such a beautiful space that creates a really inviting atmosphere- we could’ve stayed there for hours! We had the yogurt soft serve with strawberries and the maple waffles, it was all homemade and so delicious!! The owner is kind and funny, he made us laugh even with the language barrier! We hope to come back and taste the California soft serve next time. Thank you for delicious dessert

::As previous reviews have mentioned, this place is super cute. The friendly old couple is now just a friendly old uncle. His wife sadly passed away very suddenly in February 2023 😢 There's a lovely picture on the counter of her with a warm, welcoming smile and I can only imagine what the place was like when she was around. The strong coffee was very strong but also very smooth. The waffles were yummy and the yoghurt very refreshing and filling -- I couldn't finish it. I hope I can visit again! The cafe lives up to its name.

::What makes this a 5star experience is a great conversation with the owner/barista while he prepares your coffee. I had a great tasting cafe cappucino in a slow drip with cinnamon stick, and my husband had a regular blend. He Started this little quaint coffee shop 43 yrs ago as a young man, when everybody else is busy crafting a salaryman life, he decided to pursue his own track, after all we’ve only got one life he says. He speaks little English but we managed to know a lot and exchange bits and thoughts about life. A wonderful experience indeed.

::Must visit when going to Okayama! The place is so cozy and the uncle and auntie are the most welcoming hosts you'll meet. Waffles were delicious and yoghurt so refreshing! The coffee was also very good. Would come back again!

::Such an amazing little cafe run by the cutest old couple! Frozen yoghurt and waffles made in-house-was really yum! Their house blend drip-coffee was aromatic and full bodied, prepared beautifully by the experienced owners. Service was warm and welcoming, however they didn’t have an English menu- but was very accommodating and tried to communicate as best they can! Will definitely visit again!
