  I stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast included. All of the course meals for dinner were delicious, but I was very satisfied with the tender fillet steak and the rich and mildly sweet pumpkin soup. The homemade jam for breakfast was also great. The only regret was that there was no washlet in the toilet in the room.

  Everything about the sauna was perfect. The temperature and room temperature of the wood-fired sauna can be adjusted with a self-rubbing system, and I was impressed by the way everything connects from the cold water bath to the outside air bath. The sauna emits the natural scent of cypress and firewood, and from the well-equipped chairs, you can become one with the vast nature of Karuizawa. I felt as if I had returned to earth. This time I used it in November, but the water bath is a type that can be stored in the bathtub, so maybe it will be looser in the summer. Although there are some concerns, this is a sauna that I would like to use over and over again. Oh, the pension room was clean and the food was really delicious.
