奈海龍馬
::This is a popular Western confectionery store located in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The store's name comes from the French word for the plant oxalis, and it has been often used as a family emblem in Japan since ancient times, symbolizing the wish for the plant to take root in the community and prosper. Originally there was a store in the center of Kurashiki City, but in 2022 it opened here with an expanded store and parking lot. I visited just after noon on a Sunday, and I was able to easily park my car in the parking lot that can accommodate 12 cars, probably because the store had calmed down since it opened at 11am. All of the cakes lined up in the showcase look like works of art, adding to the fun of choosing one. There is a wide variety of baked goods on display, and you can choose gift sets according to your budget. I bought strawberry short, Mont Blanc, melon short, strawberry tarts, and cream puffs. As expected, it was very delicious. Access is convenient by car as it is a suburban store. If you go south on the street in front of Kurashiki Station, turn at the Yoshioka Minami intersection and follow Prefectural Route 275 for about 350 meters to reach the store. The parking lot is next to the store and can accommodate 12 cars as mentioned above. Visit period: June 2024

::I had heard that it was a popular store, and on this day it was busy with many customers. I'm glad they moved and now has more parking. The cakes looked beautiful, and there was a wide selection of baked goods and gift sets. Although it may not be available every day, quiches and smoothies were also sold. You can see the current situation on Instagram stories. Since we visited on Children's Day, there were strawberry shortcakes with Kintaro and carp streamer labels on them, and children's day cookie tins. There were several dried flower objects displayed inside the store, and some of them seemed to be for sale. The candles are also very unique (lol) and there are things like Plarail. There is a Japanese-style space next to the entrance. It felt like I could drink a take-out smoothie. I had the NY cheesecake, and it was rich and delicious. Some types had edible flowers scattered about, and they looked beautiful.
