  I traveled 6 hours from Gunma, but I arrived at 12:30 and had to wait in the lounge, but the reception staff were not friendly at all. They told me to come get the key at 3 o'clock, so when I went to get the room key at 3 o'clock, there was no ``Omachido-sama''. It was 2 nights and 3 days, so I had them clean the room in between, but they asked me to stay outside the room for an hour, so I took a bath, spent an hour in the lounge, and then went back to the room and put away the futon. However, the table that had been set aside at the end remained unvacuumed, the towel with a thin layer of white fluff still on the table, and the toilet still open and the lights on. I'm disappointed when I think this is the cleaning at this hotel. The food was delicious. The staff were also pleasant foreigners. The hot springs are soft and warm your body. There is no drink service in the lounge, coffee is 200 yen, and there is no bottled water service in the room.

  It is a rather commercial Onsen hotel. The Onsen was quite good - not exactly a good view but a very legit Onsen experience with a fair price. The location is a little bit far from Sendai. The traditional Japanese food at night was greatly executed. However, it only came with a very generic breakfast buffet - which was a little bit disappointing. The room was surprisingly huge - a little bit aged though. The staff can’t really communicate in English btw.
