::The hotel is quite up a steep hill - so make sure you're aware of that before booking. We had the ocean side view so it was absolutely beautiful on a sunny day! The staff were also nice and helpful. I would say a little bit overpriced for the quality of the hotel.

::Amazing view from the rooms and great location near the top of the Senkoji Park! The Thai restaurant offers incredibly delicious food, and great Japanese breakfast is also available. And most importantly, the hosts are amazing - very kind and friendly, they make you feel so welcomed that you end up regretting not staying longer. I'll definitely be staying there again next time I'm in Onomichi!

::The hotel is located on top of the hill where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city of Onomichi. All rooms have a sea view. The breakfast (not included in the room price) is traditional Japanese and eighth as well as the price. the hotel also has a restaurant where Thai cuisine is served. If you have a car you can park for free in front of the hotel. The seafront is 10 minutes away along the stairs that lead to the center. To return to the hotel in the evening, if you don't feel like going back on foot, a taxi service is available to take you back to the hotel at a cost of 1000¥. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Another plus: Senkoji Park and the Art museum are very close, about 10 minutes.

::This hotel is really lovely. The innkeepers are kind, the rooms are cheap, and the view is magnificent. Yes, you must walk a significant distance up the mountain to get there. The lift doesn't work during corona. The walk is worth it and you will meet many cats. There is a restaurant attached but I haven't been there. The hotel itself is a bit retro, with NHK radio buttons on the bed. It adds to the charm. Comfy bed, and again, a gorgeous view.

::A very warm welcome upon arrival made a great first impression. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There were great views of Onomichi and the Thai food was fantastic. Not a modern hotel but a great effort by the staff to keep it clean and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
