This time, in addition to the endoscopy, I had a tumor marker test, which I hadn't had in a while, and an abdominal echo test.The tumor marker showed no problems, but the echo test revealed a cyst in my pancreas. Pancreatic cysts have the potential to become cancerous depending on where they are formed, so I had an MRI scan a week later and found that the location was not cancerous, so I decided to go for it. From now on, I will have to undergo an MI examination in addition to annual endoscopy, but I am very grateful to the laboratory technician and my doctor who found the pancreatic cyst.
