::Nice hotel within 5 minutes walk of the train station. Very close to lots of local eateries, shops and night life, but without being in the middle of it, so generally quiet hotel. Good size rooms for Japan, though the bathroom is small and only comfortable for 1 person, but has plenty of counter space. Room decor is a bit dated, but good enough quality to last well. Breakfast is good with both Western and Japanese options in buffet style - grilled fish is usually on offer, but best to get it as soon as it comes out otherwise can be dry. Self-sevice coffee, tea and fruit juices. Hotel has simple bicycles available for loan of up to 4 hours, but you can return them and take them out again. Staff are excellent, warm, helpful and welcoming, a real credit to the hotel. Level of English is generally very good across the staff we interacted with. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

::Great location, a very short walk from Okayama station. In the middle of a real vibrant are full of little and big restaurants. Lovely breakfast. Room small but comfortable.

::While the rooms are a little dated, you cannot fault this hotel. Older rooms are typically on the bigger side which is always a plus. The reception staff are incredibly kind and welcoming and we were fortunate enough to get a complimentary room upgrade. Great location too! Pharmacy next door that is open till midnight (which interestingly sells beer/drinks) and a post office on the other side to send some postcards back home!

::This is a quality hotel very close to the station and the sites to visit. The area is full of pleasant little restaurants. The room is large with a nice bathroom including a bathtub as it should be. The breakfast room is reminiscent of a cafeteria, but the well-stocked buffet has something to suit all tastes. Everything is very quiet and the staff at reception are very attentive. I really enjoyed my stay.

::Good 12 minutes walk from JR Okayama station. Good size room for Japan. Breakfast was good. No English tea, Coffee and Milk in the room. Which was dispointing. View from my room no 1016 was good. Need to use your room key for the Lift. 3 night stay for traveling on Shinkasen. 24 March, No cherry blossom yet. About 5-7 days away?
