::"Blessings of Setouchi, Techniques of Yamaguchi" Restaurant ``Nyudo'' is a famous restaurant where you can enjoy fresh local seafood and dishes made with the owner's skill. The seafood from Setouchi, San'in, and Genkai, which the owner personally visits and carefully selects and purchases every day, is truly a masterpiece that can only be tasted here. The dishes are carefully prepared using natural dashi stock to bring out the best in the ingredients, and the flavor of the sea spreads in every bite. The ``Yaki mackerel sushi'' and ``Nodoguro Ichiyaboshi'' are particularly popular dishes. The flavor of the fatty fish fills your mouth and will bring a smile to your face every time you eat it. We also offer luxurious dishes that you can't find at other restaurants, such as ``Tiger Fugu'' and ``Whale Three-Package,'' and the course meals that change seasonally are also exquisite. All of the dishes are simple, but the flavors make the most of the ingredients, giving you a new impression every time you visit. The restaurant is a relaxing space, and does not have the formal atmosphere of a Japanese restaurant, but instead has the warmth of a small restaurant where you can enjoy yourself without stressing. This restaurant, which continues to be loved by regular customers, is a special place that offers not only food but also spiritual healing. Once you visit, you will definitely want to visit again. Please enjoy a moment of bliss at this charming ``Nyudo''. At Nyudou, you can enjoy fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, carefully selected by the owner every morning. The dishes are simple yet flavorful, highlighting the natural taste of the ingredients. Popular items include grilled mackerel sushi and Nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), both rich in flavor. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax while enjoying local specialties. If you're looking for an authentic and comforting dining experience, *Nyudou* is the perfect choice.

::Although the price is high, the freshness and taste of the sashimi is reliable. Although we didn't have the grilled mackerel sushi, which is a specialty of this restaurant, the sashimi platter was delicious with amberjack, flounder, squid, and tuna. Among them, the flounder was exquisite. I ate steamed fried conch, which is hard to eat. I sprinkled it with lemon juice and ate it easily, and it was very delicious. The deep-fried sweet sea bream was also very delicious, but at ¥2,500 for half of it, it was quite expensive. Thank you for the meal. 😋

::I received the Omakase course for 5000 yen. The tsuke-dashi, assorted sashimi, fried puffer fish, tataki beef, fried oysters, duck hotpot and shimeko udon, and dessert were all delicious, filling and satisfying. I wasn't able to try the mackerel sushi, which is rumored to be delicious, so I would like to try it another time.

::I wanted to eat horse mackerel from Senzaki, so I asked the hotel staff and they recommended this restaurant. Although we didn't have Senzaki horse mackerel, we had very delicious dishes such as Hagi's Setsuki horse mackerel (I think), Kensaki squid, and red sea urchin. I never thought I'd be able to eat red sea urchin, which I've always wanted to try! As the season progresses, the size will become more satisfying. The most delicious dish this time was the butter-grilled grunt (with milt). I was really lucky because it wasn't something I would have chosen unless it was recommended by the landlady. I was told that you can buy tiger puffer fins for Hirezake for 500 yen, so I bought 4 bags. It's a very nice fin (see the last photo) It was a restaurant that I would like to visit again if I ever stay in Shin-Yamaguchi. It was a wonderful holiday as I was able to go see the Genji Fireflies, which was recommended by the landlady. Thank you very much, Ms.

::I very much liked this restaurant, the food was fresh and delicious, but what I was surprised about is that they have a Full English Menu, and one of the staff spoke fluent English (apparently Korean and Spanish too). So, if you have a hard time to get a sushi experience in Japan, this is an easy way to avoid the language barrier :-)
