When I entered the front door, I could smell something like mold or animal odor, which I personally didn't like. When I visited on a Saturday afternoon, there was no one in the bathroom.It's located deep in the mountains, in the middle of nowhere, and has a rustic, Showa-era feel. The atmosphere of the location was very good. Apparently this is where there was a mine called Higashiyama Mine. There are large baths and small baths, and the small baths have a lower temperature setting. I could see some cherry blossoms from the window, and the greenery of the mountains was spreading out. A bubble bath with slightly acidic hot water and a whitish transparent color. Amenities available. There was a one-person sauna that I had never seen before that was probably manufactured decades ago, and I followed the instructions to try it out, but it seemed like it would take a long time to warm up, so I decided against it. It is also a lodging facility and also has restaurants. There is a campground and a lodge nearby, but these were in ruins.

::I stayed there for one night on my way from the 11th temple, Fujiidera, to the 12th temple, Yakesan-dera. ・Cooking: I was unexpectedly happy to be able to enjoy such elaborate and delicious food in such a mountainous setting. ・Room: It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had a toilet so I felt safe. ・Large communal bath: There are few guests, so it is almost kept to yourself. I was able to relax at Yuzuyu. I also went in the morning, so I enjoyed it three times in total. ・Service: The young proprietress' service is excellent. The other staff members also greeted me pleasantly and spoke to me. ・At night, I was able to go down to the road below and photograph the starry sky. ・The only disappointing thing was that there were stink bugs in the room. Did it get in there when you were cleaning? It seems like something unusual has happened this year, so there's nothing we can do about it.
