::I stayed here a few days in July and Im very satisfied. I felt like in a normal private room / house not a hotel. It was the most beautiful room of all I had during my 3 week trip around Japan. Tatami mat on the floor, windows without glass, minimalism concept, etc. Moreover the owner is very helpful in terms of providing tourist information. Thank toy!

::Nice Japanese Tatami room. Clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Affordable price and nice place for a stay in Kanizawa area. Walking distance to bus station and free parking slot. Be aware the shower close at 23 and main gate close at midnight.

::Located just around the corner of the most beautiful part of Kanazawa, this place is a gem. 5 minutes walk to Higashi Chaya, short ride with the loop bus to other sightseeing spots like Kenrokuen. The big rooms are furnished in a traditional Japanese style, including a kotatsu (greatest joy!), futon beds and good tea. What struck us the most were the owners, though. The owner showed us around in such a friendly way, recommending and explaining everything within and around the minshuku. We felt welcomed. In addition, the breakfast is absolutely excellent. We had fish, omelette, tofu, fish cake, fruits... It was abundant and tasted good. The best way to start the day, truly!

::Large tatami rooms and a nice home cooked breakfast with local flavors. Smaller private shared bath but nice sento style onsen around the corner. Great location; literally 21 steps from Door to Higashiochaya historical district. Short walk to the RL Loop bus stop. Only downside was there was a 9 pm curfew which surprised me. (eg doors locked, but there is an after hours door bell). Owner was very pleasant.

::A perfect place to experience Kanazawa in a traditional way. This minshuku is very nice, conveniently located in a lovely old town area; the hosts are very kind and careful. The traditional rooms are huge and comfortable. The traditional Japanese breakfast is excellent and abundant. I wish I could have stayed longer!
