  Stayed in in 2015, a short quiet walk to the station, and the hostess was very helpful in helping me schedule visits to local spots as well as helping me get a bus to Shirakawago. They had students come by one evening to practice their English with visitors here. Kanazawa itself was beautiful and was one of my favorite cities to visit in Japan!

  We stayed yesterday, very poor experience, facilities not enough, sanitary needs improvements, room overcrowded not sufficient spaces and toilets. We came here for Marathon, owners not helpful and considerate.

  Its a good place near by kanazawa station and its newly built. The price also very cheap.and you can have a nice stay there .. They have English guidance every where so You need to worry about Japanese... If you are going out late make sure to take the password of main door,if not You have to call the owner.. enjoy !!

  This place is clean, has great facilities and a very friendly staff. So why 3 stars? The women's 4 bed room is literally right beside the kitchen and from what I've heard from those staying there, they can hear everything that goes on in the kitchen. So my recommendation, stay in one of the other dorms. Aside from that, there weren't enough blankets for the cold nights I stayed (and I know I wasn't the only one). But! Overall I had a pleasant experience, was pretty close to the station and wouldn't be opposed to stay here again. Although I would check other options first.

  Good, clean place. The only problem was check in. We had to call owner to leave our bags before check in time
