  I wanted to write this review as it was the best hotel I've been to. There was absolutely nothing I could complain about during my stay when I wanted to stay there A few months later they were fully booked which was a pity. Food and rooms were absolutely amazing and there was everything you might need. As per location (as well as the view from the balcony) it was stunning, the town is quiet and relaxing and the nearby island is definitely worth visiting

  This really was the best Ryokan ever, the food was so amazing, the rooms and facilities were amazing but most of all the service at any accommodation was the best I’ve ever had especially from Hanomi Fuji who was always there from check in to breakfast to dinner, providing the best service i’ve ever seen :) Would love to stay here again one day!

  This is a very special place. While I believe it is a historical building, it is completely modernized and exquisite on the interior with lovely views of the sea and open air private onsen in your room. There is also a large hot spring room available to book privately throughout the day that is quite spacious and enjoyable. The meals are absolutely magnificent kaiseki style. The staff’s kindness and attention to detail is unparalleled. There is a complimentary shuttle to and from Fukuyama station making it convenient for day trips, particularly Hiroshima~ and 30 minute ride away. Do give yourself plenty of time to enjoy this very unique and wonderful Inn. Thank you Ochi Kochi for an amazing stay.

  We had a magical night at Migiwatei Ochi Kochi this past week. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the view and atmosphere of the space. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed our private hot springs and sitting on the patio with our drinks and snacks. Dinner was epic, one of the best we have ever had at a Ryokan and in general. The breakfast had European and Japanese options and was also flavorful and generous. Make sure to wander the town, and check out the cat rescue next door. We left feeling rested and so, so special thanks to the staff! While this is located off the beaten path, I highly recommend going to anyone considering visiting.
