I don't want other people to ask me about my annual medical checkup (cancer screening for women). . I used to get nervous at the reception once a year, but it disappeared after I started writing on paper. The people at the reception are very understanding and will gladly accept your request. Regarding female doctors, I think it depends on the individual patient's perception. As for why I have regular check-ups at this gynecologist, the answer is simple: it's the only gynecologist nearby...
