::Recently I was looking for hotels around Lake Hamana, and I remembered that I had stayed at this small hotel many years ago, and I even remembered that I could have breakfast while looking at the lake. 02/2024 Its website states that it is currently undergoing maintenance and hopes to reopen as soon as possible.

::The location is also very good. Although it is an old inn, it has a certain atmosphere. The old man at the inn was a very kind and nice person. I would like to stay here again when I go to Hamamatsu. The view from the window was also beautiful.

::good point ○Good view from the window ○Good location right near Kanzanji Temple ○The host's service is good. ○Hot spring from the faucet Bad points ×The building is old, the floors are creaky, and the doors don't close properly. ×The walls are thin and the noise from other guests on the same floor is a concern. ×It feels unfair because there is a big difference in the size of the baths for men and women. Although I checked in late, the staff was responsive and I had no complaints. I had a small child, so I was careful not to let her cry and cause trouble, and to avoid the sounds of walking and opening and closing doors, so as not to wake up a sleeping child. Recommended for those who can feel nostalgic about the age of equipment. What impressed me most was that when I woke up in the morning, the view outside the window was amazing. (I arrived at night and couldn't see outside.) Also, there are no disposable brushes, so it's better to bring your own.

::The front desk uncle is super friendly. Speak pretty good English too for Japanese standard. Will even offer to fetch us to the nearest bus stop in the morning. Some of the rooms have awesome lake views too. Not packed with tourist so is good for those want to avoid crowded place.
