::We loved this place. Its great value for money. So you're not paying big bucks therefore there are some things about the rooms that could improve. However they are so friendly, comfy beds, clean, lovely breakfast, great facilities. Me & my wife stayed with our 7 year old for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Location is amazing.

::The only good thing about this place was the location. Was supposed to spend 4 nights here but unfortunately swifted to another hotel after my first night. I felt uncomfortable, the room was not clean at all, worn furniture and no elevator as my room was at 4th floor. The staff did not seemed to be interested and did not offered me a new room nor cleaning. Furthermore, the did not want to give me a refund for the nights not spended and ended up agreeing on a refund for the last night i was supposed to check out.

::Staying at Kyoto Traveler’s Inn was such a treat while we were in Kyoto! The location is perfect. It’s located directly across from The Kyoto Museum of Art and the lobby and patio face directly out to the river which is especially beautiful while the cherry blossoms are in bloom. The Japanese breakfast is delicious and a nice way to start the day. The staff is so kind and courteous! Helpful with questions and directions as well. The experience of sleeping on traditional tatami mats was a must for our first trip to Japan and the rooms were exactly what we were looking for. They’re simple, clean, and spacious (2 people in our group in a standard room). We weren’t able to make it to the onset in our stay, but the fact it’s an additional amenity on top of the private bathrooms in the rooms is great. Next time we’re in Kyoto, we’ll definitely be staying here again. Cute and quaint-a hidden gem!

::At a very reasonable price the Kyoto Traveller's Inn provides great accommodations for anyone seeking to stay in the heart of Kyoto. Close to several museums, shrines, and the Kyoto zoo the location cannot be beat! We stayed three nights during the beginning of Sakura blossom season. We were on the fourth floor, and although it was only accessible by stairs, the staff generously carried our bags for us. The stairways were brightly colored with cute Japanese-themed paintings which added to the charm of our stay. The Inn offered a very reasonable breakfast, washing and drying machines, and a public bath house. Our room had a great view of the Heian-Jingu Shrine Grand Torii, and right outside we could see the cherry trees begin to blossom. The beds were quite comfortable, and the service cleaned our room each morning (free of charge!). Everyone was incredibly friendly and hospitable during our stay! You cannot find a better gem in Kyoto! Wether you are traveling for business, vacation, solo, with family, or as a couple, Kyoto Traveler's Inn is a great place to stay!

::Amazing location. Polite and friendly staff. They have onsen in the basement floor, perfect to relax after walking a lot. Comfortable rooms with table, electric kettle, bathtub 🛁, cozy private bathrooms, fridge in the room. You can warm your food on the first floor. There’s no elevator but it’s good to walk upstairs on the 4th floor after eating lots of delicious Japanese food, some physical activity is good to lose calories 😅 I don’t understand low reviews. Amazing hotel. I would totally stay here again.
