::This is a great onsen hotel, with great onsen facilities, a proper sauna and ice bath, and a great outdoor pool with special moor water. We had a very pleasant Japanese style room with nice beds being prepared every day at 1800. The staff was very friendly and helpful though sometimes English was a bit of a struggle. Nothing that google translate can’t fix though. The buffet style breakfast and dinner was great with a big variety of dishes. I would have been nice to have more variety on different days for that price though. The area is a bit weird with a lot of deserted buildings, and very few places to eat, it’s really mostly the onsen hotels that make this place. There is however a lovely walking area along the river which is being developed as nature area.

::We chose to stay here to break up our trip to Sapporo. Arrived late and left early so we did not get to experience the area much. It seemed a bit out of the way, so if it was a longer stay you would need a car to get away from the hotel. We had a traditional room and it was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely come again as the onsen was wonderful

::We had an exceptional experience at this charming ryokan! The hot spring facilities and sauna were fantastic, providing a perfect way to unwind. The Japanese-style room was not only comfortable but also reflected authentic charm, especially with the comfortable futons. The breakfast and dinner buffets were a delight, offering a wide array of tasty choices. The welcoming and friendly staff added a personal touch to the stay. Highly recommended for a memorable and relaxing getaway!

::Satisfied with the room with private onsen. The service was great! We didn’t do the dinner meal plan after seeing the reviews and going nearby instead. Breakfast buffet was underwhelming. There’s also a bit of a smell in the room but that improves after you open the window (if conditions permit)

::· Situated 10 km to the east of Obihiro in a quiet atmosphere on the bank of Tokachi river, this ryokan is perfect for leisure. There are several types of hot water in public bath, which its area is comfortable and spacious. They have both indoor and outdoor public bath. Staff at front desk are helpful, especially staff who brought me to the room, she gave me a lot of suggestion & introduction. I also traveled on a rental van with family, there are plenty of parking space in front of hotel. Rooms are very clean, quiet and odor-free (in some hotel, there is odor even in non-smoking room). We got very fresh clean air from river side when opening window a little bit (luckily it was not too cold). · I did not order room package with dinner set, so I was put in a dinner buffet room. Although there are quite a variety of food, I missed authentic Japanese dinner set.
