A decent onsen hotel in the area with good value for money compared to others. The onsen quality truly lives up to its name, “美人汤” leaving your skin feeling incredibly smooth after the bath. The rooms are well-maintained, even though it’s not a brand new hotel. Breakfast is decent, with a wide enough spread. Like many hotels in Japan, the breakfast buffet includes a local dish—here, it's pork on rice, which was just average. The souvenir store is also quite good. There's a bakery directly in the hotel, and you can taste their baked goods during the buffet breakfast, they're delicious. You can also purchase them from the bakery later.

The hotel has excellent facilities, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast and dinner are delicious, and the river view from the door is absolutely stunning.

Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel is amazing – but the real gem is the onsen and the relaxation spa (Raffine best). Even if you are not staying at the hotel, visiting the spa is a must! Their massages and facials are next level – and the staff are so beautiful and go over and above to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I cannot recommend them highly enough and cant wait to visit again in the future!

November last year we  drove around Hokkaido  for 2 weeks. We reserved a room with DAICHI HOTEL, TAKACHIGAWA  for one night , frankly  with a low expectation. However,  we got caught, everything was a surprise:  the reception, the room, the onsens, and the meals were all very good. It was the lowest rate we paid during our trip,  but received the best value for money  ever.  We recommend this hotel highly, and definitely shall stay there again if we ever return to  the area.

A good hotel with lots of amenities—there’s a shop, restaurant, and good breakfast buffet spread. The kaiseki was nice, with lots of local ingredients. The premium lounge has different snacks throughout the day too. The service is quite good—as we were leaving, we left a bag in our room, and the staff waited outside the room door to watch over it.he preo
