::Excellent ramen shop near Ichigao station, close to the Route246. Ample parking, seating for singles as well as large table accommodating families. Food is great. Shoyu based with lard, topped with thin slices of pork and unlimited green onions. Fried rice and gyoza are also must. Great value for money. Under JPY1,000 per person for a hearty meal.

::This joint makes excellent Kyoto-style ramen noodles and has very friendly, efficient staff. My only criticism is the use of disposable single-use chopsticks. I would prefer more eco-friendly washable chopticks when I sit down in a restaurant.

::Excellent, blazing-fast service. English menu available, and the staff speak enough for you to get by. Food is amazing, especially the shoyu ramen and the karaage. Portion sizes are huge! And prices are very reasonable. You can get a 3-dish set meal for less than 1000 yen.
