::This is where my father met his end. 5-10 minutes after I called the nurse and said, ``I think he stopped breathing,'' a nurse came and checked my pulse and heartbeat. Twenty minutes later, a doctor finally arrived and confirmed the death. As far as the family could see, my father passed away at 22:30, but the doctor arrived and confirmed his death at 22:50. For those who face death every day I think it is just one of many deaths, but for the family, it is the death of the only important family member. I couldn't help but feel strange that the time of death was off by 20 minutes. I regret that because hospice is a place that is directly connected to death, I should have viewed the death of a person as something more important and gotten involved. Even after a person dies, a nurse is responsible for cleaning the body and changing clothes. The work was done with the help of family members who were not used to it. If possible, I think it would have been better if this whole process could have been carried out smoothly by professionals.
