  As someone from the UK, and not speaking Japanese, the staff were very polite and took the time to show me how things worked. Japan has lots of traditions and routines and being foreign I had no clue what to do. The onsen was lovely and even tho I have a few small tattoos they let me in. We camped the night. The view of Mt iwate is insane from the campsite. Worth it for the view waking up! They also have WiFi at the toilets for campers.

  Yakehashiri is a great location to go camping, enjoy a hot spring, walk the lava flow from Mt Iwate. It's also the starting point if one of 7 trails to the top of Mt Iwate.

  Absolutely wonderful! Amazing guest services, relaxing and state of the art onsen experience, beautiful cabins, and the memories are priceless!

  Good utility but many insects fly anywhere.

  Great location for a group party. Cabins are very reasonable and you can bring a BBQ to use outside. The onsen is within walking distance and you get a discount for staying in the cabins. You can also get a discount on the cabins if you show your foreign passport.
