  I stayed here for ski in ski out access. Its rooms are aged, in room equipment aged but mostly functional. My room’s heater didnt work, so my room end up colder than the hotel hallways. Stains on the sofa. Bed and pillow were uncomfy. Hope they can renovate the rooms, as I would come to Appi Kogen again.

  Facilities are great, easy access to the ski slopes and food options are plenty, no stress during our entire stay even though restaurants had to be reserved in advanced. They even have a gym, a swimming pool, and cafes inside the hotel! Highly recommended, would definitely love to come back again.

  The location of the hotel and service of the staff is perfect. We enjoyed being close to the ski area, the food and the onsens. Would be very happy if we could come back when we have the opportunity.

  We stayed this hotel was a part of a tour package. Towels in the bath room were new and good. But a small room with thin walls that I could hear people next door talking. Slow WiFi that does not connect. Dinner buffet was good. Over all a budget hotel quality and do not expect much.

  Ski in, ski out, very convenient. Need to book restaurants for dinner, even in mid of March. Rental of equipment is by online, and it maybe no alternative. Hotel room is a bit old and the water tank of toilet sometimes is noisy for 15 min for no reason. TV is installed at a strange location of the room. I was assigned to a room which was far from the lifts , though the occupancy rate was low.
