  I stayed in Mutti pension hotel on the 1st Aug-5th Aug 2023 when I was in Hachimantai for business . I was greeted by the warm hospitality of the hotel owner and she is a very nice lady . The hotel is clean and comfortable , the food is delicious and we have very delicious dinner being served up a few course meal with deserts . The hotel is also very beautiful decorated . The location of the hotel is close to Appikogen snow park and will be good for ski travel during the winter . I will definitely consider to return in future . Good recommendation for potential tourist .

  Kayoko is incredible. I never got to meet her husband, but I am sure he is too. I've traveled all over the world, and stayed in some of the finest hotels and resorts. This simple, thoughtful experience was the best of all of them. This is true hospitality. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here.

  The owner was very nice and accomodating. she also recommended as few places to visit during our trip. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful. We went there with our dog, there is a dog run behind the hotel which can be used. The owner can speak english very well.

  Pension Mutti is a cute guesthouse located a few minutes away from the ski resort. Kayoko-san, the host, takes care of her guests. The whole place is really clean. Every day a dinner is served. Choice between Japanese or Western food. Western dish is composed of a starter (salad and vegetables), main course (fish and beef) and a dessert. Kayoko-san offers rides to get to the resort and to come back. The rooms are bright, some rooms have a bathtub. Otherwise their is a big shower room downstairs. There you'll also find 4 hot baths (2 females, 2 males), 1 inside the other out. The outide one is hotter than the inside one. The biggest room can accomodate up to 5 people. This place is probably the only one around to be pet friendly.
