::My family and my parents have been very helpful to me. Both the nurses in the ward and the doctors in charge understand the patient's point of view and listen carefully to what they have to say. He has a great listening attitude, so it's easy for me to express my feelings honestly, and I can feel his heart in his answers. thank you

::*This is an obstetrics review. I gave birth at Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya Hospital in June 2021 and March 2024. Both my first and second children suffered from gestational diabetes, so I was taken care of at this hospital both times. [Waiting time] The waiting time for the prenatal checkup was long, about 30 to 40 minutes, but I think that's something that can't be helped at a general hospital. (The second child first had a prenatal checkup at Osaka University Hospital, but I think the waiting time there was longer, probably because it was a larger hospital.) [Response by doctors and nurses (midwives)] The doctor thoroughly examined me every time and explained any questions I had. Depending on the day of the week, a male or female doctor in their 30s or 40s examined me. I'm a worrier, so I ended up asking a lot of detailed questions, but they explained things to me carefully and sometimes in easy-to-understand terms on paper. After each echo, he gave me a photo. All the midwives were kind and nice, and they took great care of me every day when I was in the hospital. They frequently came to check on me day and night, and all of the midwives were very supportive and gave me advice on things like breastfeeding. My mother, who came to visit me, was also happy and said, ``I'm glad we had such good midwives.'' Another good thing about this hospital is that there is strong horizontal collaboration with doctors from other departments. The diabetes doctor came to check on my progress immediately after giving birth. My first child had a bruise on the top of his head, and at that time, I immediately worked with a plastic surgeon who came to the maternity ward to examine me. (Even my husband was surprised at the speed of response.) [About ward facilities] Since it's a prefectural hospital, I think it can't be helped that it's a little outdated. I was admitted to the maternity ward on the 5th floor, where I had both shared and private rooms, and the rooms were clean. Also, the cleaning staff came every day, so I didn't have any complaints. The food was typical of hospital food, but it was always warm and delicious. There was also a celebration meal! The delivery room and labor room were on the 5th floor of the maternity ward, and the NICU and GCU were right next to it, and the child was cared for there, including blood sugar management. From May 2023 onwards, visitation and attended births will be allowed. Although there are time restrictions, you can meet in a shared room in the free space on the 5th floor, or in a private room. [Required items for hospitalization] You will receive a complete set needed for childbirth when you are admitted to the hospital. There is no need to provide clothing, diapers, wipes, etc. for newborns. (However, only one pack of baby wipes will be provided) In addition, you will need to bring your own amenities, pajamas, a change of clothes, bath towels, etc. If you wish to use the washing machine and dryer, you will need to purchase a card (1,000 yen/card). [About hospitalization costs] My hospitalization expenses both times were within the lump sum allowance for childbirth and childcare. (I was surprised that the second person had a private room?!) As for the hospitalization costs for my child, it was around 100,000 yen for a half-day stay at GCU. (You can also request a refund as soon as you receive your infant medical certificate.) My hospitalization expenses + my child's GCU expenses were about the same as the lump-sum birth and childcare allowance. *I gave birth vaginally, late at night on a weekday. that's all. I am really glad that I was taken care of at Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya Hospital. It's not as fashionable as a private maternity hospital, but it's a general hospital, which gives me a great sense of security. We hope that this information will be of some help to those who are preparing for prenatal checkups or childbirth.

::I decided that I definitely wanted to give birth at Nishinomiya Prefectural Hospital next time, and I gave birth to my second child here in August of last year! I gave birth to my first child at a clinic in Takarazuka, with the focus on the cleanliness of Takarazuka and delicious hotel-style food, but after giving birth, I developed a hematoma and was rushed to Nishinomiya Hospital here. At that time, I had surgery and a blood transfusion, and I was taken care of for three days. The surgeon, nurses, and midwives were very kind and gentle, and the atmosphere was nice, making me feel very comfortable. After that, I returned to the clinic where I gave birth, but there was a world of difference in the way the midwives and other staff treated me, and I regretted choosing her based solely on the beauty and the food. If I have to give birth next time, I definitely want to give birth at Nishinomiya Hospital! That's what I thought, so I'm glad I was able to give birth to my second child safely. I was a mixed baby when I had my first child, so when I told them that I was aiming to become a full-time mother this time, the midwives worked hard to make sure I could continue breastfeeding and gave me lots of suggestions! Thanks to you, I was able to be a full mother from around 3 months old (^^) I received a little help from GCU due to jaundice, and I am so glad I chose this hospital after all! The hospital is old and not very clean, and the food is hospital food, but other than that, I don't think you will regret choosing it. Highly recommended! ! By the way, as of August 2023, when I gave birth, it was OK to be present during the birth, 30 minutes of visitation was OK (you were not allowed to enter the room), and it was OK to take photos during the birth and other occasions, but taking videos and videos was not allowed. It was prohibited.

::I gave birth here (^O^) The doctors, midwives, and nurses in the ward were all very nice people, and it was a homely atmosphere. In particular, I am very grateful to Dr. M. and Dr. Y, and I am recommending my friends around me to give birth in the west of the prefecture ^ ^ The building is old, but it is well-maintained, and I took a bath there when I had severe lochia after giving birth. I wanted to wash it on site, but it conflicted with the cleaning time, so when I tried to refrain, the cleaning lady said, ``I'll clean the others first, so you can use the bath,'' and even the cleaning person was very nice. (^O^) By the way, after giving birth vaginally and having to pay for my own tests, I paid just under 60,000 yen on a weekday. thank you.
