  The outside have very big restaurant exhaust pipe beside the windows. This has the very bad smell into hause the room if you open the windows.

  The hotel is extremely comfortable and not difficult to get to. Next to an onsen. My only issue was finding the reception initially but eventually I got there.

  Better than mountain lodge. No lifts, cheap beds but great hospitality and so close to Gin hot spring. Stuff gave me a coupon for that hot spring. It was a good hotel as a whole.

  Stopped here for lunch and we were both surprised and pleased. We are English and had been in Japan for 3 weeks so were getting a bit tired of Japanese food. It's a Japanese establishment but the fixed price lunch menu was just what we wanted and included a delicious cream of carrot soup as the starter. Lovely staff too. Strongly recommended for lunch.

  Fancy Alps-style hotel, close to Gin-no-Yu, within walking distance to Kin-no-Yu. WiFi access on all floors with parking, though getting there by car is troublesome because of the narrow streets.
