::Recently, many hotels in Fukui have been priced aggressively, but this one is still on the cheap side. The room was spacious and had a large bath. The downside is the location, there are no convenience stores nearby. We recommend purchasing it at the station in advance.
しまだしゅうじ
::It is located in a quiet area about 8 minutes walk from Fukui Station. The building is old, but the staff are kind. This time we had a room without a bath, but there was a large public bath so no problem! It was a 6 tatami Japanese style room, but it was enough for just sleeping. It's on the moat side of the castle ruins, so a convenience store is a little far away. If you need it, please complete it before check-in.

::The building looks old, but it looks clean, but it smells like cigarettes! Although we are no longer smoking, the smell from the past can still be found throughout the building... Also, the washlet in the room looks clean, but the nozzle is not cleaned at all and is dirty... This is an impossible situation these days! If you are staying at this hotel, it would be better not to use a washlet...
ゆうさく
::It's not far from the station, but it's a little far from the downtown area, so it's a little inconvenient to go out for a drink. I arrived at the hotel after dark, but there was only light at the entrance of the building, so I was worried whether it was open or not. I stayed there on a cold day in January, and even though I turned the heating on to high, the room didn't warm up at all and was too cold. When I called the front desk and told them that the room wasn't getting warm at all, they told me that the heating in the building was working normally and that they would lend me a blanket if I felt cold. Does that mean I should stay in the futon all the time, wrapped in a blanket? And the hallways are cold too! There is a large public bath...or rather a slightly larger bath, but it would have been better if it had a sauna. Breakfast was served by my kind mother. It was a simple and delicious breakfast. The only good thing about staying here was the breakfast. The hotel is old, but it wasn't dirty. But I will never use this hotel again.
