::The room is fine, but the corridor has very strong cigarette smell. Staff are nice. But location is not very close to the metro station and utility are very old. Would definitely consider another hotel next time.

::I mistakenly ordered a smoking room. I asked the staff if they could switch me to a non-smoking room of the same tier/quality. They first said nothing was available. I checked online and there were rooms available. They then said because I had used a towel in my room that they couldn’t change me to a non -smoking room without me paying again. They reiterated that this was the reason, because I had used the room by using a towel and sitting down on a chair in the room. The level of service for a completely reasonable and normal request is bewildering. The fact that for the reason I had used a towel to dry my hands in the smoking room and that I sat down would stop them from switching me to a similar non-smoking room is completely unacceptable and disappointing. If that is their hotel policy then they aren’t doing their best to welcome and make guests/customers feel comfortable. Absolutely useless and I won’t be staying at any of their hotels again. Pathetic.

::Nice single room with all clean amenities plus very good front desk customer service.

::Walking distance to neighboring restaurants, convinience stores and banks. Ease in hailing taxi at doorstep. The hotel is walking distance to the Subway. Concierge is pretty versed with tourist inquiries but the Google Translator is a must for both verbal and written communication. Best coffee/tea amenities at the lobby. Smokers' lounge at the lobby. One reason I gave this 4 stars is the stairs at the entrance. It needed a wider ramp to transport luggage/s from sidewalk to hotel floor. There are no porters to assist.

::Twin room is fairly large by Japanese standards. Bathroom is a bit small though. Came in Nov so air-conditioning was non-existent. You had to open a window to cool your room. (The air-con was more of a heater.) Nonetheless, staff was very helpful and responded promptly to our needs. Too bad it isn't located near good restaurants.
