::A very nice hotel, the only catch is that it is not that modern, so a really bad Wi-Fi and a room that is too small for 4 people.but a very good breakfast. A 4 for the price Ps no microwave no Kitchen

::Great hotel with perfect balance between traditional and modern. The staff and service were out of this world amazing and so were the meals (breakfast and dinner) which were both included. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Great location, very close to station and bus stop to the snow monkeys. The arrival drink and the complementary Sake bar at night made it even more special. Thanks so much to the team at Hotel Tsubakino for the amazing stay!

::I wish I stayed here longer. Definitely experience breakfast and dinner here - beautiful traditional Japanese food and you'll be well fed. I only managed to get breakfast and dinner was booked out. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious - I had two different breakfasts over 2 days. The rooms are quite spacious for a couple and quaint. We had a nice view. The futons were comfortable and the quilt was very plush. It was snowing when we arrived so the atmosphere was great. Really added to the traditional Japanese feel - outdoor onsen, crisp winter weather with falling snow. I tried both the public bath and private onsen - both were great! Sometimes the water temperature was too hot but I was able to either use indoor or the outdoor onsen as needed. The staff was very helpful - easy to get to Snow Monkey Park and info is given to catch public bus and where to hike. They were also very professional and courteous. We also went to the sake bar in the evenings where we were given drink tokens to try their sake selection (3), a red wine, white wine and the locally made apple juice (a specialty in Nagano). We were also able to rent Go, a Japanese board game to play in the bar.

::Great hotel with beautiful private and public onsen. The room was clean and Japanese style floor beds were warm and cozy. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the customer service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend! Also super close to the train station!

::We really loved our stay here with our 2 yr old. When we checked in, we were presented with a heartwarming welcome drink . The staff were very kind and accommodated our requests. The onsen with the private and public bath was really beautiful and well maintained. The view from the room was beautiful with the Japanese alps vista. The hotel is easily accessible from the station - only a 3 min walk with luggage. Also, the hotel was excellent at providing a lavish breakfast, especially for vegetarians like us. I was amazed at the quality of service by the staff, thank you so much!We will be back :)
