::Booked a non smoking room and got a smoking room which was terrible smelling. No matter how much febreeze and perfume I sprayed, the room smelt terrible. Furthermore they have no Airconditioning in the rooms. Toilet was tiny as well. Unfortunately this is the worst hotel I have stayed in, in Japan after being to Japan multiple times.

::Stayed here in 2023, the facilities are dated, worn and tired, to be honest. However the staff are the BEST! The staff are charming, helful, and cheery. This hotel was my favourite place to stay in Japan simply because of the staff, and the delicious (and unpretentious) curry night.

::Stayed in 2019. Location is convenient but the hallways stink, the rooms stink, they put me in a smoker's room although I clearly booked non smoking and I had to sleep there for the first night, although I have asthma. Staff basically laughed at me and it took some fighting to get a different room.

::Good place to stay to experience old Hotel in Aomori. I see this place has been struggling since covid pandemic and I wish the best. We get a free curry rice for a dinner in this Hotel.

::Its positioned in a pretty convenient location, near bus stops and the Aomori train station. I it wasnt for this, I would probably rate it a 2. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were mostly clean, however I experienced an issue in the shower bath when I got out I noticed water was pooling outside the shower area, rendering my clothes saturated. The bed was very firm, which I liked. And I was able to fit relatively well (I am 6ft/185cm) The room I used was a smoking room, which is fine for me but if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke smells, you may want to consider another place. For the price and convenience, I would come here again if I visit Aomori.
