::There weren't any places nearby where I could eat at night, so I headed towards Shin-Hamamatsu Station on foot. I didn't like it when it was cold... When I asked the people at the hotel, they didn't give me a map, they just told me to go to the station and they didn't seem very helpful. The hotel itself is quite old and the room key is not a card or automatic lock. The women's bathroom also requires a key, not a card or PIN, so I had to go to the front desk, get the key, and head up to the 10th floor, the highest floor. In order to take a bath in the morning, I had to run into people using the breakfast restaurant next to the front desk in the elevator or near the front desk, which was a hassle.

::The rooms are clean and you can stay with peace of mind. It was a twin room, but I think the height and width of the desk and the TV were small. No soundproofing. A sound that sounded like a cell phone vibrating came from somewhere throughout the night. A mysterious resonant sound, perhaps coming from the pipes. There are times when the sound is quite loud and I am surprised. The large public bath is mostly open-air and the washing area is cold, so you need to be careful about your physical condition when using it. Overall, it is better to exclude it from the route-in options. There's no convenience store nearby, but it's a shame because it's in a good location near the station.

::Rooms are larger than Tokyo similar grade hotels. Very near to train station, can be accessed directly via 2nd floor and able to connect to adjacent shopping complex.

::Really kind people, excellent hotel and a really nice public bath. Slept excellently every night for the entire three weeks.
