::Great dinner and very accessible place. The spring bath was amazing. The room was big and clean. Great place to stay had a memorable vacation.

::Kinda basic set up, I enjoyed the flat surface to lie on with the wood head rests. The rocks along the wall give it a nice touch. Two open tubs one with jets. 410yen.

::I enjoyed my experience here. I booked this hotel during Aomori Nebuta festival. It is about an hour away from Aomori by car. The rooms are a good size. There were onsens to enjoy. The breakfast was good.

::Not quite an onsen resort, not quite a business hotel, but a sort of hybrid of the two, Hotel Pony Onsen was probably the least expensive (~6800 yen w/two meals) full-service onsen hotel I've ever stayed at. And a nice stay it was. The food was solid, the room and facilities were fine, and the baths were a lot nicer than I expected. It's unfortunately located in a sort of "nowhere" place (there's no scenery, it's not really "on the way" to anywhere, and nothing is nearby except a convenience store), but if you're in the area you could do far worse!
